Maybe it was flattery. If I asked you why you liked me, what would you say? Did you have feelings for me? Or did you like that I liked you. Was it feeling wanted that attracted you to me? If so, we never would have fallen in love anyway.
Today I had my fitting for the role of “Tizzy Fit” in the Whoville tram show at Universal Studios’ “Grinchmas.” I am impressed by how professional they are compared to the other park I work for. Each performer has a costume fit specifically to them! I put my dress on and it was far too small. I asked to trade for another size and they said, “Oh, no, just try it on. We’ll let it out so it fits you!” At the company I currently work for, you wear whichever costume is the closest to your size. If someone else takes it first, better luck next time! There is no sewing machine in sight. Here, they perform fittings at the costume warehouse and you can see all of the costumers working on alterations right before your eyes. It’s so cool. I think working for Universal Studios’ entertainment dept. is going to be refreshing :)

I entertain myself by imagining what the future could hold, painting vivid imagery of the butterflies that race around inside my ticklish belly whenever I think about you. Every time your eyes meet mine, my heart rate speeds up rivaling the fastest Olympic runners. It takes the gold medal when you say hello or your name comes across my phone because it means you are thinking about me too.
Secretly I am closing my eyes and picturing our hearts sharing the podium. The world cheers for us and our anthem floods the air, but we don’t even notice because at that moment it’s just about us. You and me. We have won. That’s love. Being in a crowd and feeling alone unless you are there with me. Knowing that I can take on and conquer this harsh, hurtful world because you are on my team. And that is how I hope you feel…

I am all about this song right now. It’s another bulls-eye as far as songs I can relate to right now. I love the line “I cashed in all my chips tonight, combed my hair to look just right” and “You told me you can’t wait to see me, then you didn’t even bother to show up. This whole situation’s incredibly typical, I should have seen it all along.”
